Bio-plus Terra II is the following generation in compostable food service packaging from the industry innovation leader Fold-Pak. Terra II uses recycled Kraft paperboard but replaces the PLA lining and utilizes cascades sonoco’s flexshield coating technology. Bio-plus Terra II is third party certified (bnq) compostable in commercial composting setting and offers a more cost effective compostable packaging solution. The Terra II remains leak-resistant when used in hot, cold, wet and dry food service applications and will assist keep foods longer by retaining heat at the same time as allowing steam to vent from the container all over transport. Microwavable protected for re-heating, the bio-plus Terra II is every other step within the Evolution of sustainable food service packaging.
