Oakland Coffee exclusively sources and roasts premium origin, high-quality coffee from small farms and cooperatives in Central and South America. This single-origin was hand-picked by farmers in the agriculturally rich Atitlan region of Guatemala, nearby the mountain that inspired the roast’s namesake—Cerro de Oro, the Hill of Gold.
The Cerro de Oro single-origin coffee is a medium-dark roast with a balanced, nutty flavor. The roast was developed to have the same smooth, full-bodied characteristics that you love from a cup of freshly ground drip coffee, while fine tuned to work best in single-serve machines.
Oakland Coffee blends and single-origin roasts are always certified USDA Organic by CCOF. Oakland Coffee takes great pride in ensuring that our coffee is not only grown sustainably for the environment, but for the farming communities that make Oakland Coffee possible. They work with farmers to provide fair wages and working conditions through the Fairly Traded promise.
All Oakland Coffee pods are Certified Compostable by BPI and made entirely from renewable resources! Oakland Coffee is one of the first companies in the world to give coffee-drinkers everywhere the convenience of single-serve coffee brewing, without the waste and guilt of traditional plastic, non-renewable cups and pods. These pods are compatible in all Keurig and Keurig-like brewers! Oakland Coffee is not affiliated with Keurig Green Mountain, Inc.
